Returns and refunds
Not quite right? You can return full-price items within 30 days. Return postage is paid by the customer — full details below.
Our returns policy
We accept returns on full-price items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible:
- Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition.
- All original tags must be attached.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible.
The following items are final sale and can't be returned:
- Items purchased on sale or with a discount code over 30%
- Underwear, swimwear and intimates
- Gift cards
- Customised or personalised items
Return postage
Return postage is paid by the customer. We don't currently offer free returns — keeping our prices competitive means we can't subsidise return shipping for change-of-mind returns.
To return an item, post it to us using a tracked service of your choice. We strongly recommend tracked postage as we can't be responsible for parcels lost in transit before they reach us.
The exception: if your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or we sent the wrong product, return postage is on us. See the Faulty or incorrect item section below.
How to return an item
- Log into your account and find the order under Order History.
- Click Request return, choose the items you'd like to return and tell us why.
- We'll email confirmation and our return address within 24 hours.
- Repack the items securely in their original packaging.
- Post the parcel using a tracked service of your choice. Keep the tracking number — you'll need it if anything goes wrong in transit.
If you don't have an account, email returns@inkuttu.com with your order number and we'll guide you through.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive your return at our warehouse, our team will inspect the items and process your refund within up to 10 business days (typically faster). The refund is issued to your original payment method, minus any original shipping cost paid.
Depending on your bank, it can take a further 3-10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.
You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as the refund has been processed.
Can I exchange an item?
We don't offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to swap a size or colour is to:
- Place a new order for the item you want.
- Return the original for a refund using the steps above.
This makes sure you secure the new piece while sizes are still available.
I received a faulty or incorrect item
We're really sorry — that shouldn't happen. Email us at support@inkuttu.com within 7 days of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the fault or incorrect item
We'll get back to you within 1 business day with the next steps. Where the item is genuinely faulty or we've made a mistake, we'll cover the return postage and arrange a replacement or full refund.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
